Hope everyone is having a grand day today. It is 110 degrees in sunny Arizona and I so miss the cold snowy weather of Michigan. So in honor of the upcoming Christmas season. I made a festive card with Ching Chou Kuik's beautiful new stamp Scarlett Holly from Sweet Pea Stamps. You can get this gorgeous image at 7kidscollegefund.com and sweetpeastamps.com
To start off my card I used heavy cardstock in white in roughly 5 1/8" X 7" measurements.
I then used Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear adhesive to set the ribbon.
I then cut out the frames for the image with SpellBinders Matting Basics both A & B and stamped the sentiment Silent Night by Hero Arts Rubber stamps.
Then the fun began......
I mixed Art Glitter's Faux Snow, Art Glitters Dazzler's line in Confection & Art Glittler's Ultrafine Transparent Glitter in Crystal and applied this mixture to the background of my card to make the illusion of frost for my card.
I then outlined the rest of the card in Art Glitter's True Red Ultrafine Opaque Glitter around the edges for some eye-popping bling. To get this neat of an edge you will want to use Art Glitter's Ultrafine Metal Tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by...
